Practice Committee

 1. Objectives

Under the name ESOP we should be able to create/collect common guidelines/recommendations regarding practical handling, preparation, cleaning, device use, drug stability and technical/practical matters in cytotoxic production these topics.
Increase collaboration and knowledge by developing Centers of exchange by coordinating work of these centers as well promotion. Centers would have practical and educational value to train and educate fellow ESOP colleagues.

2. Brief description of role or duties

  • microbiological evaluation of workplaces and conditions,
  • stability of drugs and solutions both regarding microbiological and also physical-chemical stability,
  • clean working,
  • use of personal safety devices,
  • create a database containing density/volume/weight etc. of a drugs,
  • to collect different technical/practical feedback and problems from ESOP members regarding drugs and devices and forwarding it to the manufacturers/authorities
